Mexico City, June 2026 — Amid the football excitement surrounding the summer of 2026, Jorge Campos, Visa, and Presidente InterContinental Mexico City unveiled "Legado Inmortal," a memorabilia exhibition showcasing some of the most iconic pieces from the legendary Mexican goalkeeper's career. The exhibition offers visitors a journey through the life and legacy of one of Mexico's most influential football figures, celebrating his impact both on and off the pitch.
The exhibition features approximately 25 pieces, including several of Campos' iconic multicolored jerseys, limited-edition apparel, and memorabilia highlighting defining moments throughout his career. Part of the collection was made possible through Nike's private archive, enriching an exhibition that illustrates how Campos transcended football to become a symbol of popular culture, sports design, and fashion.
The opening brought together members of the media, content creators, artists, collectors, and prominent figures from the world of sports, who toured the exhibition alongside Jorge Campos while learning the stories behind many of the featured pieces. The showcase also attracted international media attention, including coverage from the BBC in the United Kingdom and South Korean broadcaster JTBC, which produced a special feature featuring football legends Park Ji-sung and Cha Bum-kun, highlighting the enduring global appeal of Campos' legacy.
Since opening, "Legado Inmortal" has welcomed a number of distinguished guests from the worlds of sports and entertainment, including FIFA World Cup champion Roberto Carlos, content creator Chumel Torres, and digital football communities such as Fútbol Crunch and The Two Stop, all of whom have shared the experience with their audiences, further expanding the exhibition's reach.
The exhibition is part of HospedArte, an initiative created by Grupo Presidente to promote artistic and cultural expression across its properties.
