Paris – September 19, 2023 — Mexican football legend Jorge Campos was an honored guest at the opening of "Mode et Sport, d’un podium à l’autre" at Paris’s Museum of Decorative Arts. The exhibition, part of the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympics, celebrates the historic relationship between fashion and sports.

At the event, Campos mingled with guests and media alongside international icons like Arsène Wenger. The exhibit features one of Campos’ self-designed jerseys, celebrated for its daring, colorful, surf-inspired design—a nod to his Acapulco roots and a game-changer in sportswear history.

The exhibit includes over 450 pieces, from Zinedine Zidane for Dior to Naomi Osaka for Louis Vuitton, with collections by brands like Comme des Garçons, Paco Rabanne, Gucci & Adidas, and Balmain & Puma. Historic outfits worn by Serena Williams and Andre Agassi are also on display.

Campos, known as one of football’s most innovative goalkeepers, played in three World Cups and was key to Mexico’s 1990s national team. His presence pays tribute to his lasting influence on both sport and style. The exhibition runs through April 2024 in the heart of Paris.
