Mexico City, October 2026 — Jorge Campos participated in "From the Track to the Pitch" (De la Pista a la Cancha), an event organized by Fundación Telmex-Telcel that brought together figures from football, motorsport, and entertainment as part of the lead-up activities to the 2026 Mexican Grand Prix.
Held on October 27 at Plaza Carso, the event featured Mexican driver Sergio "Checo" Pérez as its main guest, who shared a pickup game (cascarita) with active footballers, former players, and other sports personalities. Campos played on the white team alongside the Cadillac driver and other celebrities.
One of the most special moments was the gathering of four goalkeeping legends: Jorge Campos, Costa Rica's Keylor Navas, Óscar "Conejo" Pérez, and Félix Fernández. The four posed together for a photograph that united different generations of goalkeepers, capturing a standout image of the day. Navas, a star player for Pumas, also participated as head coach of one of the teams.
The exhibition match also brought together footballers such as Luis "Matador" Hernández, Alan Mozo, Rodolfo Rotondi, and Adalberto Carrasquilla, alongside wrestlers La Parka and Mr. Iguana, who added entertainment to the event. During the game, Campos was also involved in a playful play with Mr. Iguana that caught the attention of those in attendance.
"From the Track to the Pitch" was part of the activities accompanying the arrival of Formula 1 to Mexico City year after year. In this edition, the presence of Jorge Campos and his meeting with other iconic goalkeepers left one of the most memorable snapshots of the day.
